Denham EGLD ATC

Since starting out aerial surveying business, we have always taken pride in our preflight planing and risk assessments. A big part of a successful UAS/Drone survey is understanding the airspace and how to safely operate within it.

When we were tasked to survey a large project over an extended period in the Denham aerodrone we knew that planning and communication was going to be key.

The risk assessments and flights plans were documented and subsequently submitted to a Denham ATC for approval.

ATC were very accommodating and helped us with this expert knowledge and experience. We obtained the approval for our fights in ELDG controlled airspace.

Two years later the UAS team had the pleasure of meeting the Denham tower team and discuss the ops further.
